What is the Edinburgh Tour Box?
We are a small collective of local tour guides eager share the many stories of Edinburgh, with locals and visitors alike! Whether you’re a life-long local or new arrival to the city, we offer a variety of in-depth city walking tours covering what we think are some of the most interesting aspects of Edinburgh’s history.
Our wee building is an original Edinburgh Police Box. These buildings were designed to act as miniature police stations, and even served as drunk tanks and prison cells! Our police box is located on the West End of Princes St, very close to Princes St Gardens.

We specialise in Small Group Walking Tours with group sizes of no more than 8 people per tour. On all our tours, you can ask questions, interact with your guide and have an all-round good time while standing at a safe distance.
